Dean Lovatt

Dean Lovatt is a solo singer who perform with backing tracks and takes his vast repertoire from acts as diverse as Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valli as well as more modern performers such as Michael Bublé. Dean is now residing in Manchester and he hopes to continue performing in many types of events from intimate and large Weddings to corporate shows and Hotels, wowing the audiences with his shows “The Jersey Boy” and “Soul Town Swing”

His career in Entertainment began in 2005 when he was employed as the lead vocalist for Thomas Cook and their touring show “Broadway Glitz and Hollywood Hits”.

After an extensive audition process Dean was selected from thousands of applicants and quickly learned that full time performing was the job he was born to do. The Journey began touring 5-star hotels around Europe dazzling audiences totalling thousands with a mix of Hollywood standards from the Rat Pack and eye watering emotional ballads from timeless musicals still going strong today. Dean spent 4 years performing in new productions each year while learning new skills and perfecting his onstage style and charisma.

Eager to travel the next chapter of his career took him to Portugal where he was signed to the largest agency in the country performing solo and with professional dancers in many shows in 5 and 6-star hotels and opening Grand Casinos while becoming a regular booking for additional venues with corporate clients.

During this time Deans show was evolving and new types of music was being added constantly leaning towards his favourite types of artists such as Lionel Richie, Stevie wonder, Elton John and Michael Buble, with Dean achieving a dream of seeing all his idols in concert throughout his journey.

In 2010 Dean continued to travel and was signed by a leading agent in Cyprus. It was here where he met once one half of “Right said Fred” Clyde Ward. Dean wasted no time and accepted an offer to record an album in Clyde’s studio in Cyprus paying tribute to his idols of music and raising funds for local charities donating the proceeds from sales to his favourite international charities.

It was also in Cyprus where Dean had the pleasure of working with Chris Andre who is a world-renowned musician in his own right, Chris would also perform in the same Hotels as Dean and a mutual friendship began.

Dean recorded two albums in Cyprus and was regularly asked to perform at weddings and corporate events as the style of music he loved and performed was not being done by many and timeless Legends such as Lionel Richie were releasing new material generating a love of the classics as well.

After many years working in Cyprus Dean has returned to the UK and took the cabaret circuit by storm performing only weeks after touching down on the runway. He performed in his local town of Stockport as well as being asked to tour the UK performing for Haven Holiday Parks for thousands of people per night.
