About this Act
Opa Rosa are a Balkan and Klezmer ensemble, playing traditional tunes from all across Eastern Europe in a dynamic and authentic style.
With over 2 years of experience performing together, including playing many weddings and functions, the band are very versatile and can offer a varied set of traditional Balkan and Klezmer music. They can offer traditional Jewish wedding music (including a Simcha set for Hora dancing), an acoustic background music set of more relaxed tunes for receptions and garden parties, or an evening full-power party act with PA. They can even arrange a Klezmer Ceilidh with a caller.
Opa Rosa provide their own PA and sound equipment which they offer to clients for an extra fee; and are happy to take tune requests and learn new repertoire to suit their clients' needs.
