Jojowails

Joe Mitchell aka Jojowails has been performing live at a very professional level since the tender age of 15. After cutting his teeth in his native Scotland and the North of England, in his early twenties he headed south to London, where he developed his style working in bands and in studios in the capital.

He eventually put his own band together and signed a record deal in the US, where the band spent the following couple of years, working on all kinds of promotions on their albums, radio, touring constantly and working in partnership with big brands like Budweiser and Disney.

On returning to the UK after their label went bust, the band split. Joe then focussed more on writing and recording, developing his skill set, as he does on an ongoing basis, something that can be heard in the superbly crafted, bespoke tracks he uses in his show.

in 2012 a contact in the business heard that Legendary sixties act Gerry And The Pacemakers needed a new bass player who could sing backing vocals. After a weekend learning songs for their show, Joe turned up at The Cavern in Liverpool, played two sold out shows and became a permanent fixture for the next four years.

Due to winding down touring commitments, Joe left to work on his own music again, and Jojowails is the live show he is performing now, as well as writing and recording at home.
