Abi Phillips

Born and raised in Birmingham into a musical family Abi Phillips' musical background reaches back into her early teens where she would perform in her parent’s band. Since those days her love for music has grown insatiably and she is the proud owner of a large repertoire of songs that span across various genres including folk, country, pop and many sub-genres in between.

Abi’s first significant break came after writing a song for Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks titled 'Missing You', which was written after being inspired by a lead characters storyline and later submitted, after which the song was used on the show. Following strong response to the song, executives from Hollyoaks arranged a meeting and subsequently Abi to audition for the part of Liberty – a musical character the show had been developing for some time.

Abi has gained substantial experience through performing at some of the UK’s most prestigious events, large and small, including The Pride of Birmingham Awards, Paradise Wildlife Park, Children in Need and Kensington Roof Gardens to name just a few. More locally, Abi perform at cocktail bars, restaurants and eateries, bar openings and private functions/parties.

Abi’s act can be tailored to your requirements. She has experience in solo acoustic performances, set lists can be provided however these are usually tailored to each event to ensure the best possible reaction from your guests.
