About this Act
Effortlessly polished, the energy of this charismatic duo is infectious. The Sandcastles, offer a diverse range of music for weddings, corporate events, civil ceremonies, parties and more. The professional duo's repertoire includes covers of pop artists like Estelle, George Ezra and Paolo Nutini, while extending to the well-loved classics from Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and jazz standards to name a few.
They’re sure to provide showstoppers displaying a high level of musicianship, combining singing, keyboards, guitar and saxophone all from these two musicians.
The Sandcastles strive to work closely with you to sculpt an entertainment agenda to suit your event, whether you require a classy touch to your champagne reception with jazz favourites and folk classics, or lively chart-toppers for your evening reception. As every event is different, we can work closely with you to tailor our service to your requirements, by adding a DJ service or an optional double bass and drums to really get the party going. The Sandcastles can ensure your event gets the bespoke service that you need.
Both of the duo members have music degrees and have extensive professional experience performing across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Their work includes supporting Van Morrison, Sandi Thom and performing on the BBC on multiple occasions.
A completely live and energetic performance from The Sandcastles will enhance your day. When The Sandcastles arrive at your venue, they will be fully equipped with their own PA and lighting to put on a show that looks and sounds fantastic.. Before, in between and after their lives sets, they provide a DJ playlist which they leave running when they are not performing. You can make requests for this playlist in advance. Additionally, The Sandcastles will happily learn song requests for your special occasion, which they will perform on the day of your event. Typically 2x50min sets, although this can be altered dependent on the running times of your event.
