David Barnes

David Barnes is an International performer with an enviable song list covering the best rock, pop & chart hits guaranteed to fill the dance floor. David can perform up to 3 x incredible sets and can even play some stylish jazz and swing if you’d like music during the drinks reception or over dinner. All event types are considered and David will go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfectly run on the day. His wealth of experience throughout the industry is second to none.

In 2010 David had the amazing opportunity to be part of a backing group on the recording of the re-release – ‘In The Army Now’ by Status Quo. David went to the studios and recorded the song with Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, all of which became a great success. David attended the BBC studios in London for a live performance of the song on the ‘Alan Titschmarsh Show’ and soon after joined Status Quo in an open air concert with an audience of 10,000 people.

David has also played with many other top-level musicians including, Jools Holland, Catherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, JLS, 911, Sonia, Dario G (DJ) to name a few.

Other appearances have included singing live on South Korean TV at a Multi National Military Tattoo to which David became a resounding success with the local community for singing and performing at. Dave also sang Live at Wembley Stadium in 2013 opening the world famous NFL Game alongside Gene Simmons from 'KISS'. Other events include singing the National Anthem on Sky Sports at Twickenham Rugby Ground in 2016 among many other festivals and the like.

In 2015 David decided to put his voice to the test by fulfilling a life long dream of his. He took the plunge and applied for ‘The Voice UK’ where he would undertake 6 months of auditions in a pool of 150,000 people. David was successful throughout all the auditions and managed to make it through to the TV stages, the all important ‘Blind Auditions’ in front of the internationally famous Paloma Faith, Boy George, Will.i.am and Ricky Wilson. David got down to the last 26 and has now been signed by Sonic Boom Records.

David has spent a full career as a Soldier in the British Army and has recently left the force to fulfil his lifelong dream of becoming a recording artist in the mainstream industry. After leaving the Army he has been travelling the length and breadth of the country, performing to a variety of audiences, all of which have been amazed at his vocal talent. With his piano skills as an extra bonus for those acoustic type events, David comes as a whole package and can execute pretty much anything in terms of live music.

His experiences have helped forge an amazing career in music and clients are delighted to have him perform at events throughout the UK & Internationally.

David is now working hard with his manager/producer on his future album release in 2019.
