About this Act
The Dail Trio play atmospheric, laidback and soulful covers from a wide range of musical genres, perfect for a drinks reception, private party or wedding celebration. The band was formed in 2021 by a collective of experienced function musicians who had noticed that they were getting more requests for relaxed afternoon music sets, often to complement a more lively evening band. Recognising this need, the Dail Trio was born!
The Dail Trio are Sam Robertson, jazz saxophonist, Cat Razzell, professional jazz, pop and classical pianist, and Erin-Williams Jones, professional pop, jazz and blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. Each of these musicians has over a decade's experience performing with their own and other professional bands for a range of events, including weddings, private parties, festivals, and corporate events. Knowing how much work it can be to organise an event such as a wedding or private party and how overwhelming all the questions and decisions can sometimes feel, the Dail Trio's first priority is ensuring that the process is as smooth as possible from start to finish and that their clients get exactly the experience they want. To do this, the Dail Trio offer a professional, friendly and helpful service where they are very flexible regarding bespoke requests and arrangements, and will always be on hand to answer any questions or help and advise where they can.
The Dail Trio's set is designed to set the perfect tone for a relaxed, celebratory event, and can be curated to the client's specific tastes. They play a range of popular jazz, soul, blues and pop classics (please see our set list for specific examples), and are very happy to discuss specific song requests.
