    About this Act

    Captain Stingray's Groove Machine collect and share grooves from around the world. Amassing a line-up with backgrounds in Afro, Reggae, Latin and Caribbean styles fused with a western Psychedelic Rock and Funk, there's is a sound that you can't help but sing, dance and smile to.

    The band features members from Guinea Bissau, Nigeria, America/Caribbean and Staffordshire (UK). Each bringing their own unique perspective, influence and charm to the group but essentially they all shine at making great songs to get the party started.

    A diverse set means the band are suited to afternoon chill out festival slots, or for boogieing past midnight in a night club. The group have traditional formal wear from a variety of cultures for more formal events too!
