About this Act
David Mairs is a solo singer who backs himself on guitar and piano and whose music has a very distinct roots/Americana feel. His guitar style was popular in the sixties and jazz style piano make him a unique performer right for any setting. His repertoire includes songs by artists such as James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder and Elvis.
During Lockdown when the performing industries took a hiatus David honed his craft even more as he built on the extensive repertoire he already had, learned a variety of different styles and genres and took his gigs to the online audiences of YouTube, Facebook and Instagram and performed on the AcousticNightOnline Youtube Channel as a regular act. Along with his solo career David has been working closely with other musicians to take his music to another level so if you're looking for that fuller sound with a bass and drums backing David and his band can accommodate.
In the autumn of 2017 he returned from a three month cruise where he performed a set every night in the lounge bar, dining area and cocktail bar. Since then he made the decision to pursue music as his full time career and has been performing throughout the UK ever since since. David's style suits a variety of venues including casual dining, bars, weddings and more formal concerts creating an ambience which is just right for your function.
