James is based in Glastonbury and regularly plays around the South West area. He is happy to travel further afield if required.
James Rippingale is a Classical Guitarist based in Derbyshire, England. He graduated in 2001 from Leeds College of Music with first class honours having won the college Classical Guitar prize. He has gone on to establish himself as a much sort after performer, composer and educator whose recitals and performances have taken him across the UK and abroad including appearing at the GISFAM festival in Geneva as well as concerto performances with the orchestra.
James has been providing Classical Guitar music for weddings, functions, parties since 2004. His large and varied repertoire includes many styles of music from light Classical and Spanish works to arrangements of Beatles songs and Jazz Standards. With over 10 years of experience playing at weddings James is happy to provide music for all parts of your special day including music for the ceremony, wedding breakfast, drinks reception and photos etc. He works with a small amplifier and can easily move around the venue to accommodate different events throughout the day.
