Up The Function

Up The Function is a punchy 12 piece party band with both male and female vocals and a 6 piece brass section. The guys & gals give the big sound treatment to classic pop favourites from Dancing in the Street through soul & motown and including modern favourites like Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran.

The band is fronted by three vocalists ready and able to really get the party going. The sound is underpinned by tasty guitar, bass and drums with a stomping six piece brass section. Look forward to a vibrant dance floor filling performance!

The band also offers three options for themed parties. Soul Town presents the best of ‘60s Soul and Motown,‘70’s ‘80’s Disco creates the perfect opportunity to get into day-glo shirts, afros and platform shoes, while Blues Brother, Soul Sister gives you dance floor classics with a Blues, R’n’B Soul vibe.

Don’t let the size of the band put you off! The guys are willing and able to squeeze into small venues and have performed in back gardens, hotels and pubs. With a repertoire that includes soul, modern floor fillers, rock & roll, pop or disco, the band will delight young and old alike.
