The Major Fifths

The Major Fifths are a female fronted 5-piece party band. Their music is heavily focused on bright upbeat pop covers that always get people singing and dancing. Lots of 80s classics from artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson and Duran Duran, a few 90s hits from the likes of Haddaway and Shania Twain, as well as modern pop hits from Katy Perry, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Calvin Harris and plenty more.

In an effort to stand out from other party bands, the Major Fifths put a lot of focus into making the songs sound authentic to the originals where possible. Equipped with a synthesizer and a guitarist with plenty of effects, they create a multi layered and full sound, but never straying from the strong beat that keeps people moving. Colourful lighting and a fun, engaging charismatic front woman top everything off into a nice package for your event.

They encourage clients to create their own sets from the song list. Not everything has to be high tempo all the time. Which is why they also have plenty of slower singalong classics, such as 'You Got the Love' by Florence + the Machine, or 'Rolling in the Deep' by Adele' both of which always stir a reaction from the audience. Not only that, but they are also happy to learn your chosen first dance song and if required, provide a DJ playlist for before, after and between sets.

Every member of the Major Fifths is a well seasoned musician, most of which have been involved in various originals and tribute acts. As well as some being professional music teachers. You can rest assured your event is in safe professional hands.
