Tangerine Scene

Tangerine Scene are a function band who only play the chart hits from the psychedelic age, 1965 to 1975 as A Tribute to an Era. Their backline comprises ex-professional musicians from the 70s - some had record contracts back in the day - on vinyl! They are: Two Guitars, Organ, Bass and Drums – and fronted by a wonderful young female singer recently graduated from The London School of Music in Pop Performance. This band pride themselves on filling dance-floors by playing the hits your guests will know and love exactly like the originals.

Tangerine Scene play corporate events, office parties, weddings and even abroad – they’ve recently performed at a wedding, in a castle outside of Rome this summer, big-stage festivals, fundraisers, anniversaries and also small private parties. They can adjust their fees to your budget and the nature of your event; be it a lavish gala or tiny party in a church hall. The band take about one engagement a month playing the soundtrack of their youth, making people dance when they hear the introductions to Itchycoo Park, Gimmie Some Lovin, Spirit in the Sky, Get it On, Stuck in the Middle, Get Back, Alright Now, and love to hear their audiences sing along to Starman, All the Young Dudes, Whiter Shade of Pale, Warterloo Sunset. It’s all about taking folk back to the days of Arcadia. This is a band who’ve had their careers, but who still love getting out there to entertain people with their professional sound, they are a band of happy has-beens who are still amazing players.

The band take engagements throughout the UK and some bookings in Europe. They can provide their own PA and lighting, if required. The band are a friendly bunch, and with the help of Freak Music are happy to answer any questions without obligation, they will tailor their set times to meet the clients  requirements.
