About this Act
Skyrie are a premium Scottish ceilidh band playing traditional music with a modern twist. They are based in central Scotland, and are happy to travel, playing regularly in St Andrews, Dundee, Edinburgh and Perth.
The full 5 piece line-up is two fiddles, guitar, bass and drums. The band will tailor the line up to your needs and by request also play bagpipes, flute, whistle and mandolin. The ceilidh set consists of traditional and contemporary celtic tunes and songs, and some original material.
The band offers calling and dance demonstrations, so first-timers are always well looked after! Professional Scottish Highland dancers can also be hired for that special touch.
