About this Act
A versatile and experienced professional singer, Debbie performs her Songs from the Heart evenings with a sensitive and insightful understanding of her work, delighting in singing pieces that she loves and in transforming any event into one full of emotion, laughter and elegance – leading one delighted client to refer to her “Rolls Royce of a voice!”
Debbie was born in Vancouver, Canada and received her degree in Opera from the University of British Columbia. This coupled with passion for musical theatre, was what ignited her love of performing for the enjoyment of others and led her to move to England, where the West End and a thriving film/TV industry beckoned.
Her extensive event and concert work has taken her around the United Kingdom (including the West End of London, The Royal Festival Hall and performing for the Royal Family) across Europe, Canada and she was invited to perform for a large PROBUS conference in Australia where the organiser amusingly termed her "the secret weapon of the evening".
Based in East Sussex Debbie is also touring her Four Star reviewed one woman show, “Miss Givings” and undertaking an increasing amount of acting roles.
