About this Act
Claire Colbran has made a name for herself on the northern jazz scene. Having trained on the jazz degree course at Leeds College of Music, Claire has a deep knowledge and love of jazz. This is where she met her quartet members and they have played around West Yorkshire for the last 3 years.
With a huge repertoire, the band mix traditional swing with contemporary arrangements. Claire is inspired by such singers as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan.
Her voice has been described as 'lyrical' and 'engaging'.
