About this Act
Chasing Comets is a professional acoustic duo that consists of singer Sigrid & guitarist Michael. The duo is known to perform stunning covers of pop classics, jazz tunes and folk songs and making them unique.
Born and bred in Oslo, Norway - Sigrid is a BIMM London graduate & singer and has worked alongside Crystal Fighters & Maverick Sabre. Her stage presence is captivating and she has the ability to wow an audience. Her vocals ranges from warm and close to big and powerful, and her vocal influences vary from Diana Krall to Adele.
Michael is a session musician and songwriter from Colchester, England. He has performed and recorded with many artists, including Alison Moyet, Heather Peace, Cloves and Etaoin. Michael provides the perfect accompaniment to Sigrid’s stunning vocals and is comfortable in a wide range of styles on the guitar.
They have performed at venues such as Royal Festival Hall, Shepherds Bush Empire, Jazz Cafe, Manchester Academy, Sydney Mardi Gras, The Cavern Club, Glastonbury Festival, Brighton Dome, Under The Bridge and VIP Southampton FC.
