The Reel Fling

The Reel Fling are a three piece ceilidh band, offering upbeat, energetic and innovative entertainment. Each member has at least 12 years of playing experience and a high level of musicianship. Combined, the band have a wide array of musical interest that allows The Reel Fling to merge traditional Scottish music with modern rhythms and arrangements.

They have been entertaining audiences with their modern take on traditional music, with increasing popularity during the 5+ years they have been playing together. During this time they have performed at many venues all over the country, including Culcreuch Castle in Fintry, The Albert Hall in Nottingham, Armadale Castle on the Isle of Skye, as well as regular events at Mount Stuart House on the Isle of Bute.

Their uniqueness comes from their energy and enthusiasm that they bring to every single performance. Thought goes into preparing for every function, to ensure the enjoyment of their audience. Their professionalism is carried over into their sound, their performance and their appearance; they always endeavour to get the best sound possible for each venue.
