The Precious Things

The Precious Things are an all-live, female led five piece band providing fabulous entertainment for parties and events of all styles. The top class line-up includes some exceptional musicians and customer feedback is second to none.

The band covers a huge range of music in their repertoire, from the 50s to current chart hits and this includes pop, rock, funk, disco, dance and some more laid back jazzier grooves. The band describe themselves as primarily a 'party band', in that they set out to entertain rather than provide 'background' music and they are completely at ease with all age groups. For ceremonies, receptions and quieter moments at formal events solo piano is also available.

*Free Disco - pre-recorded music by original artists (with dancefloor lighting) before, between and after the live sets, so from the time doors open until the last guest leaves. The vast library covers all eras and is regularly updated and playlists can be tailor-make playlists for customers. This is a fun, personal touch that customers (especially brides and grooms) enjoy and of course it saves on the cost of a dj.

The band has built a reputation for excellent musicianship, quality live sound, professional and friendly customer support and great stage presence. They are at home playing at weddings, civil partnership celebrations, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Christmas, anniversary and birthday parties, sports clubs, proms, armed forces and hotel events and other private and corporate functions.
