Kate McCabe

Kate is a solo singer who accompanies herself on the guitar and ukulele and who has become a well-known singer-songwriter on the Glasgow and Central Scotland music scenes. Having played at venues such as Glasgow City Chambers, Broadcast, The Hug and Pint, The 13th Note, The Blue Arrow and many more, Kate is and experienced, talented and passionate performer. Kate is also a regular on the Isle of Arran music scene where she serenades islanders and visitors with her melodic guitar and stunning voice at Crofters’ Music Bar Bistro.

Kate’s has an innate song writing ability. She creates melodies and lyrics which move and speak to audiences. And Kate can write a song just for you; whether it’s for a special occasion, a gift for someone special, for your big day, a wedding, birthday or corporate event, Kate will create a bespoke song to make your event unique and even more special!

As well as her own material, Kate has a wide range of classic cover songs to please the crowd. Her repertoire includes songs by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Cindy Lauper, Paolo Nutini, Natalie Imbruglia and Bon Iver. Kate has a unique style which can fit a variety of venues and events, including casual restaurant dining to the larger, more formal wedding.
