The band are based in Edinburgh and play in the central belt of Scotland but will travel for work.
Burt and the Bacharettes are an Edinburgh based tribute act to the music of Burt Bacharach. Using authentic arrangements, and peppering the set with a number of other songs from the 60s era that are in a similar style, they play classic songs originally performed by artists such as Dusty Springfield, Dionne Warwick, Petula Clark, Andy Williams and Tom Jones.
This line up of seasoned professionals includes female and male vocals, guitar, piano, bass, drums, trumpet and trombone and the individual members have cut their collective teeth playing with, among others Blue Nile and Justin Currie and are also members of the Scottish Sinfonia and the Meadows Chamber Orchestra.
