Testimonials
"The Jack Dames played at our Wedding at Houstoun House Hotel in September and they were absolutely fantastic. They were very helpful and patient especially with us changing our first dance so many times and nothing was ever a bother for them.
Thank you so much for the great ceilidh, getting all the single ladies up for me throwing my bouquet and for the great selection of songs you chose for the night.
I think you always have that worry that no-one will get up and dance but I think it's safe to say the dancefloor was never empty. Everyone was still talking about you the next day and weeks after the Wedidng about how great you were! I wish we could do it all again.
Anyone looking for a band - I will definitely be recommending you to them.
Thanks again.

"If your anything like me and my wife, you'll take quite a while looking for the 'perfect band'. We went to many a band showcase and live music nights in our search to ensure we got a band that could provide a wide range of music to suit all ages but it was also important to us that we had the drums, guitars etc to have it look good also.
We came across The Jack Dames at a band showcase and after 3 songs had them booked for our wedding on the spot. The mix of vocal range between the singers ensures a wide range of music, the guitarists and drummer throw in various solos throughout the show which really shows off their talents. Our first dance was a song not released in the UK and these guys had a month to learn it. The review title says it all.
If your reading this review I've just saved you time on looking for your band. Get in touch with these guys, you won't regret it."

"Well where can I start about how fantastic these guys are. Myself and my now husband had been searching for a wedding band for approx. 9 months when we stumbled across these guys. We were so frustrated with the lack of quality or sheer expense of bands out there.
After arranging to see Kev and the gang at a hotel wedding fayre we were impressed. I then went to see again at a wedding band showcase where talent and professionalism outshone the other bands.
We were delighted with our choice. We then got a call to say the lead singer had changed and my heart sank. Kev was great and invited us along to another showcase where due to the acoustic in the venue we were nervous. So we then went to see again in the studio, where despite prepping a set for us these guys played to our demand. Any nervousness about Jay, the new lead singer was gone ( great singer, even better personality ) and we also got chance to see the amazing drummer Chris in full flow!
They learnt our first dance, were accommodating when we changed our second dance just days before the wedding, and gave us the confidence to trust there judgement on the night.
These guys are also super professional on the night .
We cannot thank you guys enough for understanding our guests and keeping the dance floor full.
Days later we're still chatting about song choices, me singing with the band, photos and banter with the guys at the end of the night.
Best of both worlds with Jay and Tamara, but the rest of the band are not outshone by the lead singers.
Cannot wait to see you guys again and thoroughly recommend you to anyone, with any musical taste. You're the best. Love Team Reid x"

"I had The Jack Dames preform at my wedding, and didn't I pick well :)
From start to finish they were brilliant, getting all the guests involved in some serious slosh dancing, joining in themselves, they even got me and my husband up to sing 500miles which was a massive hit with the guests haha!!
In all seriousness these guys know how to entertain and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I will be recommending them to anyone looking a band, better than I expected and the night was amazing.
Thanks again guys, youse were absolutely fantastic.
A very happy bride xx"

"Hi
A big thank you for an excellent nights entertainment, at my sons wedding. I have never been to a wedding when after the first dance was over the floor was consistently packed with dancers. It was a credit to your music and your song choices throughout the night.
I would definitely recommend this band for any forthcoming events you may have. They were professional in every aspect, from the set up right through to the final dance. I also really liked the personnel touches throughout the night.
Thanks again for a great nights entertainment."

"Brilliant, brilliant brilliant!
Fantastic evening made even better by the Jack Dames. They got the crowd on the dance floor with music to suit all tastes and ages.
Really loved the mixture of both male and female vocals. Would be brilliant at any event and certainly would get them to take part in any future events.
Thank you so much for helping us raise lots of money for charity!"
