Deborah Shaw is professional female pianist, harpist and vocalist with a broad range of experience in performing at weddings, hotels, events, functions and in restaurants in the UK and overseas. She has held residencies in 5* Hotels in Japan (Ritz-Carlton Osaka), Dubai (Novotel Centre) and currently performs regularly at The Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh, a Waldorf Astoria hotel.
WEDDINGS:- Deborah offers a range of packages and performs regularly at weddings across Scotland. If it is simply music for your ceremony, the harp is an ideal bringing a beautiful visual element as well as an angelic sound to any room.
She can either perform purely as background or cocktail entertainment creating an elegant ambiance in your venue, or she can take a more central role singing and playing, interacting with audiences and creating a livelier up-beat feel at your event.
Following your ceremony if you require music for your drinks reception or meal, Deborah can then play an up beat set (on harp or piano) mixing jazz standards with popular contemporary classics.
If you require evening entertainment, piano bar sets as a great and sophisticated way to round off the perfect day.
Repertoire Includes classical repertoire, love songs, Jazz and Pop standards - The Beatles, Elton John, Peggy Lee, Norah Jones, Adele, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dusty Springfield, Dolly Parton, Coldplay etc as well as a selection of traditional Scottish songs / Burns Songs
