About this Act
The Modern Vintage Swing Band are as the name suggests an act which take modern songs and play them in a vintage style. With no small amount of creativity they have rearranged songs such as Livin' on a prayer or Pharrell's Happy and turned them in to something new. And for older guests or fans of the original jazz hits the band also have a huge repertoire of older jazz and swing standards if required.
The musicians really are top class. The band is made up of session musicians that annually tour with The Four Tops, The Temptations, Tavares, Freda Payne, The Platters, Martha Reeves and The Three Degrees to name but a few. The band is totally flexible and can be hired from a background music duo up to a full blown show with singers and dancers and as well oiled session musicians they can also provide a set of standard party dance-floor material later on in the evening if required.
