About this Act
The Alan Crookston Ceilidh Band are based in Central Scotland and play all over the country and beyond. The band perform mostly as 3 piece comprising of accordion, piano and drums. We can add another accordion and fiddle on request.
The band have recorded 5 BBC Radio Scotland Take The floor Broadcasts and we were also nominated for Dance band of the year at the MG ALBA Trad awards in 2015. The band have also recorded 2 albums which have received brilliant reviews.
The band have performed at weddings, 21st's, Ceilidhs and festivals all over the country. The band are made up of very seasoned musicians that have been playing for many many years.
