The Rococo Quartet is the ideal combination to transform your occasion into an elegant and sophisticated event. The quartet performs to your specifications at any function from wedding to corporate event.
Based in Aberdeen, the quartet plays in and around Aberdeenshire, Angus and Moray and is comprised of classically trained, qualified musicians renowned for their quality and professionalism. The ensemble specialises in providing music and entertainment for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions, as well as Corporate Events, Private Parties, Gallery Openings, Dinners, Drinks Receptions and Launches.
Over the years, the quartet has established a wide ranging, entertaining repertoire which includes light classical to jazz, musicals, film music and popular music to suit all tastes.

About the band
Sue Muir - Violin
Sue studied violin at the Royal College of Music and began her professional career with the Scottish Ballet Orchestra. She now specialises in chamber playing and running this highly successful quartet.
Sue has also attained 2 Diplomas in Jazz Performance and plays live music for stage and theatre. She is a regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival.
Teresa Boag - Violin
Teresa started the violin at the age of 7 having been entranced by Beethoven’s Emperor Piano Concerto! She studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow with Louis Carus and Peter Mountain. Teresa is also a member of Aberdeen Sinfonietta and performs regularly in Aberdeen.
Ruth Kalitski - Violin
Ruth studied violin and viola at the Birmingham Conservatoire with Nona Lidell (Leader of the London Mozart Players) and Andrew Watkinson (Endellion Quartet). She is a member of the Aberdeen Sinfonietta and the Sinfonia of Scotland. She is also a founder leader of the Angus Chamber Orchestra and member of the Ruthven festival Chamber Orchestra.
Rachel Mackison - Violin/ Viola
Rachel studied at the Royal Academy of Music, London. After college she played with various orchestras in London before moving to Aberdeenshire. She is a member of Aberdeen Sinfonietta and the Director of the Strings and Wind National Workshop.
