The Oxbridge Singers are a top chamber choir drawn from ex-Choral Scholars from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. They are a versatile ensemble of young, talented professional singers.
They sing in a wide range of musical styles including classical, religious, spiritual, or lively pop and jazz arrangements and have performed for many events including wedding ceremonies, receptions, concerts and a floating flash mob proposal on a lake in rowing boats.
The Oxbridge Singers were founded in 2005 by their principal conductor Alexander Campkin. The choir has a busy concert schedule performing and broadcasting throughout the UK and Europe. The Oxbridge Singers usually sing with 8 singers but can accommodate any number required from 4-12. They can also provide solo singers. They frequently work with pianists, organists or string quartets, but most often sing unaccompanied.
