The Kick Inside

The Kick Inside are a Kate Bush tribute act whose members have worked together extensively in original bands in the world of art  and avant garde pop. Between them they’ve played venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Union Chapel and The Royal Albert Hall amongst others. Over the last decade their band, simply known as Raf and O have been widely acclaimed for their unique song and sound world performing fully live with enchanting captivating shows. 

In this project, The Kick Inside, they are paying tribute to the genius of Kate Bush, who simply has a special place in the heart of so many. Capturing the energy, the spirit and the very essence of Kate's early career and the immense landscape of these compositions, Raf performs live with detailed piano work and with a vocal similarity that is at times truly breathtaking, allowing the fantasy of 'being there' close up with Kate in the 70s and 80s as she struck out on her unique pathway.

The Kick Inside is available as a solo show with Raf on vocals and piano and as a duo with the addition of O Richard performing on double bass bringing those beautiful bass lines, inextricably linked with so many of those great tracks.
