About this Act
David has been playing music on his own and in bands for over ten years. In that time he has sang with some amazing musicians and got to play some amazing venues across and the UK and Europe.
Over the years he has developed a strong voice which can allow him to sing a wide range of different styles. In the past he has worked and lived in England which lead me to sing in a band called The Rising with Paul Banks of Brit pop band Shed Seven, Robert Maxfield of Audioweb and drummer to music icon Ian Brown of The Stone Roses and Stuart Fletcher of The Seahorses. He has also formed his own band Electric Drugstore which has seen him release singles and play venues such as the Glasgow Barrowlands and O2 academy. Most recently his vocal talents can be found on the tribute album to one of Scotland's finest songwriters John Martyn. On that album he sang the track Rope Soul'd along side a band made up of Nick McCabe and Simon Jones of The Verve.
Over the last few years he has been the lead singer in the popular Glasgow Wedding band The Dawn Patrol which has been travelling all over Scotland playing some of the biggest weddings and functions in the country.
