About this Act
The Northern Nights is a lively five-piece wedding and function band based in the Highlands of Scotland. The band play a diverse range of covers from the 60's to the 2020's designed to fill your dance floor. Covering many genres including pop, rock, funk, soul and many more - there is something for everyone. The band comprises of many full-time working musicians with all members having many years gigging experience. Many of the band members are multi-instrumentalists and can also play for ceilidh dancing. Band members Colin and Alyssa are both experienced ceilidh dance callers and will happily talk your guests through all the necessary moves, ensuring everyone can take to the floor and give it a go.
The band are happy to discuss any requirements you may have for your event and can tailor the soundtrack accordingly. For weddings they offer to learn and perform a song of your choice live for your first dance. They can also assist with background music throughout the day - during the ceremony or drinks reception.
