About this Act
Aberdeenshire singer Iona Fyfe became a BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Semi-Finalist in 2015 and continues to combine contemporary folk music with the Scottish Traditional Songs. A proficient piano player, Iona can self-accompany and can learn songs on request. Iona has performed extensively across Scotland, England and Europe and has performed at festivals such as Celtic Connections.
She performs mainly as a solo singer and can also supply a band that creates a high-energy performance by combining Scotland’s Oral Song Tradition, contemporary tunes and various styles ideal for upbeat tune sets fitting for any event.
