Fat Cat Brass

Fat Cat Brass are a modern, funky brass band. They play their own quirky twist on arrangements of great tunes from the last 5 decades.

The line-up is Sousaphone, Trombone, two trumpets and two drummers....who perform on stilts. The are able to perform as a totally acoustic act (with no sound or amplification) and roam inside or outside for venues, parades, clubs, bars and any special event.

The band can also perform as a static, stage set up with a Latin inspired sound where the percussionists play a full 'latin' percussion set alongside horns.

The arrangements are great and the rhythms are infectious.

Fat Cat Brass are often booked for clubs as a pop up band, and are often seen roaming around parades and festivals....they are pretty much flexible to perform anywhere that’s looking for something a bit different but still able to play the great tunes audiences and guests love.

There are quite a few great modern brass bands out there, but non who have drummers on stilts...and who also wear kilts.
