About this Act
Working as a professional musician over the last 5 years, Amy Reader is a versatile entertainer who delivers a performance worth experiencing. Accompanying herself on guitar or as part of a piano-based duo, Amy offers a vast repertoire filled with genres ranging from Pop to Jazz and everything else in-between ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Based in Edinburgh, she regularly performs at an array of venues around the city such as Greyfriar's Bobby, The Tap Music Lounge, Stramash, The Jazz Bar and is currently resident musician at The George IV. Alongside these, Amy has extensive experience in the wedding/corporate world as front woman for function bands which has helped develop her craft and unique style whilst seeing her entertain across Scotland. Her ability to adapt means no venue or audience is too big or too small and can tailor sets to suit any occasion.
In addition to her solo act, Amy can be joined by the incredibly talented pianist Luke Cunningham and drummer Toni McVey forming their trio "Three's Company" offering a repertoire more inclined to genres such as Jazz and Swing with some unique interpretations of all-time classics. With each member originating from the West, you can expect to experience a performance laced with humour and personality.
