Groove Central

Groove Central are a highly experienced soul, funk and disco act with a superb repertoire of 40+ classic floor-fillers. This versatile 5 piece take their music cues from acts as varied as The Average White Band, Chic, Sister Sledge, Rose Royce, The Trammps and Donna Summer. As standard, the band come with excellent equipment, a large PA system and lighting rig. Background music for intervals can be provided from a catalogue of hundreds of MP3 on hard disc.

We have recently introduced a new singer who is great at working with an audience and great for that party atmosphere. The keyboards player has experience with many bands and owns a music store, The drummer and Bass player are very experienced recording musicians and have played in similar bands in the past so have a great 'feel' for dance music. Our guitarist has done session work and also works as a producer. The band are willing to travel and enjoy playing this style of music which shows very much in the act and the audience response. Great musicians and a party atmosphere are guaranteed !
