About this Act
Midweek Sax are a 5 to 12 piece saxophone ensemble from Bolton. Their repertoire covers jazz, swing, tango, show tunes, theme tunes and many of their own arrangements of popular numbers from the forties to the seventies plus many modern artists too.
They are most at home with the music of Gershwin, Miller, Porter, Mancini, Ellington and Rogers and also encompass an increasing range of light classical pieces. The variety of gigs is as wide as the music itself, with music tailored to any event.
