The ten members of the Soul Federation are experienced musicians, several with international performance experience, they will interact with audiences and get people dancing and having fun.
The band came together early in 2017 to honour the classic soul, blues and funk sounds of the 1960s and 70's and to enjoy performing the music from these eras, and to invite others to experience the bands good time vibes.
Based in Liverpool and Manchester the band's variety of ages provide the perfect blend of experience that their audiences appreciate. The Soul Federation are regularly invited back to the venues that host them across the North West of England and their vast experience means they know how to fill a dance floor and give an audience an amazing night to remember.
With an award winning lead singer the show provides a variety of tracks including Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Sam and Dave, Dusty Springfield, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, The Commitments, Ray Charles and the Blues Brothers. As well as showcasing both male, and female lead vocals, along with harmonies the band's instrumentalists demonstrate their versatility with carefully selected occasional solos supporting the dynamic vocal front line. Band members' stylish on stage outfits adds a distinctive and elegant touch to the event. The band also offer a song request from a choice of their classic soul, blues and funk repertoire and they will prepare and perform it to make the event even more memorable .
The band supplies an interval play list to keep the party going. For weddings they provide the additional option of piano with/without vocals for reception or ceremony events.
