The act is based in North Lancashire, and can perform at venues throughout Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester.
Rachel Mercer is a Classical Crossover Singer based in the North West of England. Rachel has a wide repertoire of music to suit most tastes from Classical, Opera and Religious pieces, songs from the Musicals, Easy Listening and Jazz, Modern Contemporary Ballads and Pop Music from the 1930s to the present day. Rachel trained in Musical Theatre and has 15 years performance experience of performing at prestigious venues throughout the UK.
Rachel is perfectly placed to sing at wedding ceremonies with an accompanist of your choice or with her own top quality PA System. Rachel can also be booked to sing at your wedding reception or drinks reception and even offers a bespoke package. She is happy to learn new songs if your favourite isn't listed.
Rachel has performed at many different kinds of events including Masonic, Rotary, PROBUS and for private groups and can be booked for any daytime or evening event. Rachel will liaise with the event organiser before the event to discuss music requests and timings to ensure an event is the best it can be.
Rachel can also be booked for vintage events and 1940s theme weekends (VE Day). Rachel has a wide repertoire of music from the 1930-1950s and is popular at many 1940s weekends. Performing sing a long classics by Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields to Swing and Big Music of the era and adding in a few popular Musical numbers of the time.
