About this Act
The Ways (aka Why Aren't You Smiling) are a high energy and extremely Soulful band who fill the dance floor with many Motown and Soul Classics. A fabulous female lead vocalist accompanied by a big band including brilliant brass, bass and male backing vocalists.
With a superb repertoire covering classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles through to Bruno Mars... The Ways hold a residency at the acclaimed Blues Kitchen and often host the Jam at Ronnie Scoots so are experts at getting the crowds dancing all night!
The 7 piece band including bass, brass and powerful backing vocals can also strip down to a smaller soulful set up for receptions and lounge performances. The Ways are more than happy to learn first dance/song requests, making it extra special for any occasion.
