About this Act
Lorraine Day performs The Lady Swings and she is a swing, jazz and blues tribute act in the style of Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone.
She has performed in some of Manchester’s most famous venues including the legendary Hacienda night club and The Band on the Wall. Over the years she has performed with rock groups, blues groups and a four part vocal harmony group who were a Manhattan Transfer tribute act no less. She has a wide range of experience and performs as a soloist in venues across the North West.
Lorraine can also provide set of more current songs including a range of songs from Adele, Jessie J, Emeli Sande, Sia, Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Avicii etc for a high energy dance spot. Lorraine is a versatile vocalist and can provide a mixed set of songs including rock and roll, 60's to the 00's and Soul and Motown on request.
