About this Act
The Godfathers of Soul was formed from a passion and love of the music style. Motown and Soul music deserves a full on effort from the best musicians and these guys deliver. Their sound is full and authentic, and this means no click tracks and no backing tracks are used in the performances.
They are fronted by two lead vocalists Lisa and John and vocal harmonies are an important part of the band style and are treated accordingly. The band have a serious attitude to the music and have a party while performing which is just as it should be. Their repertoire is vast, taking in acts as varied as The Trammps, Wilson Pickett, Ben E King and Jimmy Radcliffe.
