The band are based in and around London and regularly perform in Central London and its surrounding areas. They are happy to travel around the UK for events if required.
The Girls From Oz are a Vintage Vocal Trio that all hail from the land down under. They provide a number of different packages to suit a wide range of occasions.
They can be hired to perform classic 1940's and 1950's repertoire complete with adorable retro costumes, which is perfect for high end corporate events, parties and hotels/bars. However for an utterly unique show, these girls will perform classic Aussie Pop songs re-arranged into three part harmony. This can be background music or a fully fledged cabaret show complete with costume changes, comedy and loads of cheeky Aussie banter. The girls are very adaptable to what potential clients actually want as it all depends on the mood of the event. They can be fun and cheeky, sweet 'girls next door' or sexy sophisticated sheilas!
There are three casts of girls, which means there are always plenty of singers available! The line up is always a Ravishing Red head, Beautiful Blonde and Bonza Brunette. They are all trained, professional singer/actors who have worked in Musical Theatre, notably on London's West End stage, which is why they can really put on a show!
They have performed their cabarets at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the last two years as well as at a number of venues in London (Brasserie Zedel, Above the Arts, The Other Palace, Toulouse Lautrec, Cahoots) and corporate events at Australia House, The House of Commons and Berlin. They can be hired with backing tracks, piano or a three piece band.
It is difficult to categorise the musical style of the group as it is so eclectic but one thing is certain, it is utterly unique. The Girls from Oz are one of a kind!
