Christopher is based in Edinburgh and performs regularly throughout Scotland and the UK
Christopher Tait is Scotland's top, Burns Supper speaker and is the only actor to perform in character as the world's most famous poet, Robert Burns.
Christopher is in high demand for Burns Suppers throughout Scotland, the UK and Internationally. He performs all of the main speeches including the Selkirk Grace and haggis address, Burns's own Immortal Memory and the Toast to the Lassies.
He also performs many of Burn's best known poems including; To a Mouse, Holy Willie's Prayer (in character as Willie Fisher) and a unique performance of Tam O’ Shanter, set to a music and sound effects backing track. His interactive, whisky drinking song is a hilarious addition to all Burns Suppers.
Christopher has appeared on television many times working with the BBC, STV in Scotland and CBS in America. He regularly appears in the UK press.
In addition to performing at Burns Suppers, Christopher has a 45 minute, one man play which is suitable for all ages. He has an interactive play suitable for schoolchildren and university students.
Christopher offers a dinner with Robert Burns experience, where guests are entertained by Burns himself during dinner. He also appears at Scottish themed events interacting with guests and posing for photographs.
