About this Act
Tango Zapatito are a duo of Penny Callow on cello and Margot Hardman on accordion with harmony vocals. The band play mostly Tangos, Milongas and Waltzes, with Jazz Standards, Popular Songs and Classical Music too.
Tango Music is melodic, rhythmic, romantic, and perfectly suits the mellow tones of the Cello.
Tango Zapatito have been delighting audiences since 2005 with their idiosyncratic versions of Tango music, and sweet harmony vocals. They play for Tango Balls, and Milongas (dance nights) and at Gallery and Exhibition openings, Stately Homes, and for Celebration Dinners/Weddings.
Penny also plays Bach Solo Cello Suites when requested.
