The trio are based close to Newcastle upon Tyne and regularly travel to the coast to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth and are willing to travel further afield.
The Darling Dollies are a fully professional female vocal trio who specialise in close-harmony singing with a vintage vibe. The girls are based in the north east of England and can be booked to add some vintage sparkle to a wedding, party, corporate function or charity event.
The Darling Dollies repertoire contains a mixture of classic 1940s songs, golden hits from the 50s and 60s as well as more up to date songs with a vintage twist!. Popular favourites include their interpretations of the Andrews Sister's 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' and 'Sisters' as well as Doris Day's 'Que Sera, Sera'. Set lengths, repertoire, costumes and staging can all be varied to suit any venue or requirements. They also offer a collection of 1960s songs and costumes as a booking option, covering hits by The Chiffons and arrangements of Dusty Springfield songs amongst other 1960s favourites.
Formed in 2013, the trio has performed regularly since and bookings frequently arise from recommendations. In addition to private bookings they performed live on BBC Newcastle's Children in Need and on CBC News Network to celebrate VE day. Emma, Becky and Rebecca have all had classical vocal training, hold a range of performance and vocal qualifications between them, and have had vast and varied experiences in music and stage performance. The harmonies are arranged creatively, rehearsed relentlessly to ensure the perfect vocal blend and presented with engaging choreography to bring the songs to life. The Darling Dollies are guaranteed to impress and entertain.
