The band are based in London but will travel UK wide for events.
The Katalinas are an awesome, fun and high-energy group of professional musicians, with thousands of hours experience onstage alongside some of the biggest names in the business. Whatever the songs and the occasion, this band deliver an exciting, full, passionate, personalised performance, carefully tailored to enhance the look, sound, and feel of your event.
The Katalinas provide your ultimate playlist, brought to life onstage in front of you and your guests - your choice of classic soul, funk, pop, dance and rock hits from the sixties to the present day.
They also know it’s not just about the music. As well as the performance, they hope you'll enjoy their professional attitude, their immaculate presentation, the discreet setup, and a sensitivity to the different needs of wedding, corporate, family and other events.
The Katalinas are a rocking four-piece band with male lead vocals, twin guitars, keys and a stomping rhythm section. Members have performed with Westlife, Ocean Colour Scene, Ronan Keating, Jason Donovan, on the X-Factor and many more; between us we've written and recorded music for the Hollyoaks, Channel 5, the Ministry of Sound and the BBC; they've done sessions for top music producers at Abbey Road studios and many others. Their musicians have toured worldwide and performed at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Shepherd's Bush Empire, the Roundhouse, SXSW, NXNE and many more.
The band are happy to learn first dances and supply an iPod DJing service-with sufficient notice, that’s fully customised to suit your requirements.
The band also have the option of using an electronic drum kit if there is a noise level meter at your venue. The band can dress to suit the needs of your event on the night whether you require they can dress formally in smart suits or in white shirts and black ties or just plain black shirts and black trousers to blend in. Alternatively if you prefer the band to dress down for your event, they are more than happy to wear casual clothes.
New option
The band can also provide a solo, duo, trio or full band acoustic set. Featuring stripped back versions of your favourite songs, these acoustic performances are ideal for creating an extra special atmosphere earlier in the day or for any other occasion

Testimonials
“I just wanted to send a quick email to say a big Thank you to you guys for playing at our Wedding on Saturday the 9th. I didn't get a chance to thank you on the night (I think way too many drinks had been drunk at that stage) We have had great feedback from all our guests. Choosing the band was one of the biggest decision for me as it is such a big part of the day and you were certainly the right choice. From what I can remember the dance floor was filled all night and nobody wanted it to end. I would certainly recommend you to my friends and family. Thank you again.”
- Francesca
“Can you please pass on a massive thanks to the band. They are really nice guys, very professional, were totally accommodating (adjusting the set, helping with the impromptu karaoke and playing the Will Smith song for the flash mob!). They also sounded great and went down a storm. It was absolutely perfect and we could not have been more pleased”
- Dan and Annie

I want to give a big thank you to James and Russ and the rest of The Katalinas for a fantastic performance at ou wedding reception (party) last Saturday night. Their performance was beyond our expectations and their spectacular variation of music style exeeds any other live act. We realy appreciate you being part of our special day, Lorna and myself have only been hearing our friends and family going on about how good you were. I've only got a year to go to my 30th and will be in contact again... Many Thanks Lorna & Michael Blurton (Sorry about the swarm of beauty therapists at the end of the night joining you on stage...)

Just wanted to say a big thanks to you and the rest of the band for your set at our wedding on 10th August. You guys were great and it really made the evening entertainment.
Thanks,

"Cannot fault the band - their relaxed manner enhanced the exceptional performance. Their recommended play schedule on the actual night was varied, but totally in line with our daughters request and expectations - more modern rock as opposed to what you normally get at weddings - a great party atmosphere for those who appreciate good music. Should any future occasions arise where a band is needed, they would be our first choice and would definitely recommend them to others. Well done lads - keep it up.

The Katalinas were indeed a big hit at our party! A combination of great vocals, musicianship and the set-list kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening. They were also friendly and flexible. I'd recommend them highly.
