Love Generation

Love Generation are a seven-piece 'Pop Reggae' band renowned for its authentic, vibrant sound, amazing performances and musical talent. Drawing inspiration from reggae, pop and soul their unique show has won them legions of fans and cemented their place as a stellar live band. They are guaranteed to fill the dance-floor by performing classics Reggae hits from the last 50 years from the British charts, reproduced live to the highest level. The material covered includes popular covers from Bob Marley, UB40, Simply Red and throw in pop songs to mix things up. Drawing on their skill and experience they provide an authentic, cultivated performance that blends tight rhythmic sections with harmonies to create a great evening of music and entertainment.

Collectively Love Generation has many years of musical experience, most of the guys have played in a variety of contexts in the UK and internationally including working with well-known recording artists. This stellar show is down to the sum of its parts with stellar musicians in every department fronted by two exceptional vocalists (male and female) including the charismatic recording artist Lloyd Charles’ who’s pedigree is second to none. Alongside Lloyd on lead vocals and harmonies is the “Soultress” ‘Lady Sara'. On saxophone & percussion is Gary who’s jazzy melodic playing is the ‘icing on the cake’; on guitar is Michael; Gerry is on the keyboards; Chris adds the quintessential reggae bass lines and Trevor completes the band on the drums. Together, they bring hits to life and will give every listener something to enjoy and most of all get you dancing.
