Instrumental folk and Klezmer tunes from Russia, Eastern-Europe, the Balkans and beyond with Buffo's Wake: Skeleton Crew, featuring cimbalom, violin, double bass, guitar and accordion.
Brighton based Buffo's Wake are usually more known for their high-energy original songs, but having teamed up with acclaimed cimbalom player Janos Kallai they are excited to present this set of instrumental world-folk.
A whistle-stop tour of music from the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Russia and beyond, performed with the band's usual frenetic energy, you will hear influences from classical music, klezmer, Balkan folk and gypsy-jazz, performed with virtuosity on cimbalom, violin, double bass and guitar.
