Just wanted to give a big thank you for playing at my wedding in July 2023. For anyone considering booking the DeeVines, here are the best things about them. Firstly, they sound amazing and even learned my first dance song, which I’ll never forget. From the very start, they gave me all the information I needed and talked me through what usually works best in terms of timings etc. They came early to setup the bulk of their equipment to minimise disruption as our whole day took place in the same room. We also took advantage of a daytime acoustic set which was lovely. The main performance again, wow. Everybody was up dancing, and the night really was the best ever. I hired the DeeVines for my 50th birthday bash November 2022. They were very professional indeed, they were on site, set up and out of the way before my guests arrived. From the moment they started playing they had my friends and family on the dance floor. However, the biggest surprise was that my partner told them that I was a huge Gary Newman fan and despite them being a RnB band, they learnt a Gary Numan song just for me and even let me sing it with the band, what a fantastic gesture, that really made my night!! The days that followed I was asked multiple times who the band was, and I was more than happy to pass on their details. I wouldn’t think twice about booking these guys again for any future celebration. If you are thinking of booking them, just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to write you a quick note to say a huge huge thank you for being AMAZING. The DeeVines smashed it at our wedding in Penrith. We had 150 guests who barely stepped foot off the dancefloor while the band played. We had chanting for encores when they tried to leave, and since they're so up for it they came back and killed it for one more song. If I could do it again they'd be top of the list every time.

Dan & Lou Duran Formaso - Wedding 

We booked the DeeVines for our wedding in December 2016. We chose to have them play an acoustic set during the day, along with the full band in the evening. We are both huge music fans and have many friends who class themselves as aficionados, so we were mindful of booking a band that appealed to older family members and more serious music enthusiasts at the same time. 

We chose the DeeVines and were not disappointed. Their blend of classic soul and funk music mixed with accessible but credible pop ensured that our guests were dancing all evening. Many of our guests even said that it was the best function band they have ever seen. 

The whole journey, from initial communication through to learning our first dance and generally being lovely people of the day was perfect. They are a super talented bunch of guys and we would not hesitate to recommend them in future.
