Ryan Ferrie

Ryan Ferrie trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in BA Musical Theatre and is a jazz singer who takes his musical cues from legends such as Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Franks Sinatra and Judy Garland.

As a singer Ryan has performed for a variety of functions from Scottish Parliament events at Edinburgh castle to Hertford Mayor's Vintage Tea Party. Most frequently Ryan performs with his pianist Simon for afternoon teas in some of the finest hotels and restaurants in Scotland, singing classic golden age jazz songs. He is also available to sing without Simon with high quality backing tracks.

His credits include Still Game Live 2: Bon Voyage (SSE Hydro), Cinderella (Adam Smith, Kirkcaldy) Twelfth Night and Doctor Faustus (Bard in the Botanics), FAME The Musical onboard the Silja Serenade, Scandinavia. Other shows include Somewhere in England (New Wimbledon Studio Theatre, London), Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling) and Sleeping Betty (Tron Theatre, Glasgow), John Barrowman’s Concert Tour and BBC Children In Need: Rocks Scotland 2011 (Glasgow’s SECC). And as part of Susan Boyle’s UK Tour and The Olivier Awards 2011 (Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London).

When in London Ryan also performs with his singing partner Emily Byrt as Tea for Two who has worked extensively in London's West End.
