With their raucous, irrepressible live shows, the wonderfully named Doolally Tap have a deserved reputation as the band best able to invoke the true spirit and energy of 1920s New Orleans jazz in the UK today.
Equally at home roaming around a party interacting with guests or as a focal point performing their full show, the band's infectious energy, top class musicianship and sheer wit makes them truly memorable for any audience, large or small.
Featuring some of London's finest jazz musicians, the classic line up of trombone, trumpet, clarinet, banjo and sousaphone means they can be completely mobile, or fit into tight spaces, as well as filling a larger stage. With a repertoire drawn from Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Fats Waller et al, as well as a careful selection of brilliant post-war melodies, their presence and rapport will grace any event.
